How the budget works
- Every organization has a monthly AI budget based on its plan.
- Usage is metered and checked before each request.
- When the budget is close to running out, you’ll see warnings.
- If it runs out, paid AI actions pause until the budget resets or you raise it.
Rate limits
To keep the platform fast for everyone, AI requests are also rate limited. If you hit the limit, wait a moment and retry.
Reducing costs
- Repeated questions are answered from cache at zero token cost.
- Use quick actions — they’re tuned to use the smallest effective amount of context.
- Review usage logs to see what’s consuming budget.
