Setting up uptime checks

An uptime check pings a URL on a regular schedule and records whether it responded correctly.

Create a check

1. Open your project’s Monitoring → Uptime page.
2. Click Add check.
3. Enter the URL and the expected status code.
4. Set the check interval (for example, every 1 or 5 minutes).

What it tracks

• Current status and response time.
• Uptime percentage over the last 24 hours and 30 days.
• A history of down periods.

Pair it with alerts

An uptime check records the problem — an alert rule tells you about it. Set one up so you know the moment a check starts failing.
